Gallup Park
Posted October 21, 2008 by Ima Local
Ann Arbor, MI is ususally seen as an adult-scene area. However, with it’s amazing parks, it’s the perfect place for any outdoor family activity. One of the best parks around is Gallup Park along Fuller Road. This park has everything to offer to anyone. It boats a beautiful lake full of fish for fishing should the boys (or the girls!) want to go for a little fishing excursion. They also offer nature trails for the adventurous nature lover like myself. In addition to these, Gallup is a great spot for picnicking and for those of you who don’t like preparing your own meals, there’s a concession stand that should fill the little ones’ tummies! They offer a place for boat launching as well as rentals for paddleboating, which is something you can do with the whole family. You can even have paddleboat races to see who’s boat can go faster! The water is a great place for anyone who loves to canoe or who wants to teach the kids to canoe. Rowboats are also available to take out the kids for a little in-water fishing!
