Fourty Six - not just a number, but a Kannapolis, NC restaurant
Posted July 15, 2008 by Town Genius
Kannapolis, North Carolina is a small city located about 20 minutes outside of Charlotte, NC. Right now things are hopping in Kannapolis because of a new addition to the city. A 10 million dollar biotech facility is being built here. Because of this there are some swanky restaurants and cafes popping up here. One in particular is a restaurant called “Forty-Six”.
Located in the heart of Cannon Village and walking distance from the new Biotech Facility this restaurant is a breath of fresh air. If you are looking for local flavors and produce, fine dining with a touch of sassy you will find it here. Forty Six boasts great seafood dishes with organic produce and meats. They have a great wine list and everything is very reasonably priced.
Starting at around $10 for lunch and ascending to $28 for dinner they won’t completely break the bank. My husband and I dined there for Valentine’s Day, we had a bottle of wine, appetizers, entree and dessert all under $80. I had heard a few things about this restaurant and everything exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is quiet but not boring and both the young and the young at heart would have a great time here.
