Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom
Posted October 23, 2008 by Ima Local
An awesome amusement park to bring the whole family to is the Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This is a fantastic, large attraction that will give you a day of fun and excitement. They have a great collection of roller coasters, thrill rides, and kiddie rides. Safety is a priority as there are First Aid stations and Emergency Medical Technicians available. Life jackets are offered for free. All water activities will close if lightening occurs. A private area for nursing mothers is provided, too. The kids will enjoy Aqua Racer, Cascade and Aquablast, which is reportedly one of the longest elevated water slides built. The huge rafts hold many participants, twisting and turning through steep slides and curves. Toddlers will love the Lollipop Lagoon, where they can explore turtle fountains, squirt guns and miniature water slides. The Wave Pool is another favorite, creating waves from zero to six feet high. Older kids will be thrilled by such roller coasters as the Laser, Meteor, Talon and the famous Hydra. This steel coaster is the state’s first floorless coaster and sends riders upside-down. Both adults and children will enjoy this park especially designed for fun, open from May through October.
