Dallas Farmer’s Market

Posted March 22, 2008 by Realty.com Editor

The Dallas Farmer’s Market is an awesome place to buy fresh produce and flowers, as well as some local crafts/arts. It is best to go earlier in the mornings on the weekends. That’s when you get the best variety.

There are many venders present and you get a great assortment of all kinds of foods and crafts. Venders are typically open to dealing with you and often will take a lower price if you offer it to them. Most are very friendly and extremely helpful. They offer samples of their products and can answer any questions you have about what they are selling.

It’s a typical flea market set-up; venders lined up side by side. You can find many types of people there: families, couples, singles, locals, tourists, etc. It’s a great way to buy the best possible produce in the Dallas area. The prices are much less than the grocery stores and the variety is unbelievable. Spring-fall days provide the best times for variety of items offered. It’s a place everyone living in Dallas should experience, because it’s probable that you will become a weekly regular! This is also a must for any tourist traveling through Dallas as well.
