Columbus Zoo - a must see
Posted July 15, 2008 by user-submitted-content
One of the great things about the Columbus area is the Columbus Zoo. The zoo is a great place for families to go to spend the day. The exhibits are great, both outdoors and inside. One of my favorites is the aquarim because I love all the different kinds of tropical fish and the manatees. For more information about the Columbus Zoo, go to: www.columbuszoo.org.
The weekends are crowded, especially since the new water park, Zoobeezi Bay, opened this summer. It is much better to go during the week to avoid the crowds. And, if you are looking for something to eat after your day at the zoo, try The Lost Shepherd or City Barbeque in Powell, OH. Both are great. City Barbeque is more casual and the Lost Shepherd is more classy. The for dessert, don’t forget to stop at Graeters Ice Cream. It is the best!!!!!
