Children’s Museum of Richmond
Posted October 24, 2008 by Ima Local
This museum is perfect for younger children under the age of about twelve. They feature Seymour the Dino on Parade Tuesdays through Saturdays at 10:30 am, followed by Story Time at 11 and Cave Tours every half hour starting at 11:30. They have field trips for several age groups. These trips last about an hour. They also have art classes for children as well. It would be fantastic for parents to be able to drop their child off for an hour at one of these field trips or art classes for an hour and get a little sightseeing done. The staff is extremely kind and friendly, and the atmosphere is pure fun! They are open Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 am to 5 pm, and Sundays 12 noon to 5 pm. This is between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Memorial Day through Labor Day they are open Monday through Saturday, 9:30 am to 5 pm, and Sunday 12 noon to 5 pm. Admission is currently 7 dollars, but will be going to 8 soon.
