Children’s Muesum
Posted October 22, 2008 by Ima Local
If you are looking for a fun, educational place to bring your kids for a day trip, the Children’s Museum in Portsmouth,NH is the place to go. Children of all ages will enjoy the many exhibits that feature hand on exhibits that encourage your children to have fun and learn things to. Some of the awesome include: Dino Detective, Pattern Place, and the Post office.
The best time to go during the fall is after lunchtime, when it is less croweded. This museum is conveniently located downtown for easy access. Although this is marketed towards children, this is a very family orientated activity to do, you can involve all of your children at various ages.
The museum is a wide open, safe and immaculately clean place where you don’t have to worry about bringing your children. I would recommend checking out all of the exhibits from start to finish, and ending the day with a trip to the gift shop for a souvenir to remind you of your day.
