Pier 39 is a large open-area pier with lots of attractions. There is an aquarium where you actually go under the bay and look at all of the great marine life close-up! They also have a petting area where you can explore underwater animals hands-on. There are always a myriad of street performers, from break dancers to “robots” to impromptu magic shows… Even world-famous magician David Blaine has been known to perform here!
