Burke Lake Park
Posted October 24, 2008 by Ima Local
Burke Lake Park is a great place to bring kids. There are 888 acres of fun to be had! Entry is free for Fairfax County residents and free for non-county residents on weekdays. When you arrive, make sure to head right to the Information Center which is located at the entrance of the park once you pass through the gate, on your right hand side. The lake is 218 acres and is great for fishing and boating. Kids will love the miniature train, carousel and brand-new mini-golf course. If your kids are hungry, you can take them to the snackbar or ice cream parlor. Burke Lake Park (which includes parking lots and grounds) closes at sunset.
