Brevard Zoo

The zoo is open daily 9:30am to 5:00pm. Not only does the zoo offer great animal attractions, it also has a cafe and gift shop. Certain times are allocated for giraffe and lorikeet feedings. The Animal Encounter program offers presentations about different types of animals. Something unique is the kayaking tour; although, not available for children under five. The train ride is approximately ten minutes and is for all ages. Any day is good for a zoo visit; however, most of the demos (crocodile, alligator, vulture, and river otter feedings) occur after noon. Check the website for the specific dates and times.
