Big Bubba’s Bad BBQ

Posted October 16, 2008 by Ima Local

This is a great family restaurant in Merced, CA.  It is very down home and has an extensive menu where you can choose your own sides, in case potatoes aren\u2019t your favorite.  They have barbeque, burgers, salads, even vegetarian meals, so everyone in the family can be happy with the food that is offered. The staff is friendly and fun, excellent for kids.  There is a large pink pig in the front of the restaurant that beckons you to sit on him and have your picture taken.  They have micro-brewed beer for the adults, and a mechanical bull, if you are adventurous.  They also have a gift counter in case you would like a souvenir, such as “I rode the bull at Big Bubba’s” shirt.  The hours at Big Bubba’s are Sunday through Thursday, 11 am to 9 pm, and Friday and Saturday, 11 am to 10 pm.  They have a full service bar as well, that is open until as they put it “til the cows come home”.
