Austin, TX has the charm

Posted July 15, 2008 by Town Genius

Austin charms its visitors into a centrally located entertainment center within the heart of Texas.  Vast arrays of downtown spectacles include the world renowned Austin Film Festival, which runs through the week of October 16th ending on the 23rd (http://www.austinfilmfestival.com/new/).

Sixth Street is most popular for its nightlife. In tune with the college students at the University of Texas, live bands and festivals are an every day occurrence.  The robust atmosphere is great and accommodates everyone’s favorite themes.  The museums in the downtown district are open every day throughout the year.  The state capitol is in the midst of it all. Kids will enjoy the Austin Ice Cream Festival on August 9th (http://www.icecreamfestival.org/).  It gets very hot during the summer time, March and April are the best as far as the climate goes.
