Every year on the week of the fourth of July the whole town comes to life. They have a huge craft fair, car show, and inflatables and games for kids plus much more at Central Park. One the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of July they have free concerts every evening at the river front. These are popular bands for instance this year Tracy Lawrence, and Kansas plus many more bands played.
They also had a wonderful fire works show. Each year they also put on an air show before the concerts. The best thing about it is that you can have free family fun. Every one in the area comes to these events, and some even travel to see the concerts. This town has wonderful original attractions like the original Paramount Arts Center; it even has a small local museum that is wonderful for the whole family.
From Flee markets to Craft fairs, and chilly cook offs this town lights up during the summer time having a little something to offer everyone. If you are coming to see the concerts that start at 8pm you want to make sure that you are there by 6 to have a good seat.
