Apple Blossom Farm
Posted October 20, 2008 by Ima Local
I recommend making a special day for the family by visiting Apple Blossom Farm located only ten minutes from downtown Peoria, IL. The kids will enjoy the inflatable jumping ground, the train barrel rides and animal petting zoo. The whole family can have fun getting lost in the giant corn maze, which covers over thirteen acres. There are lots of exciting activities for all ages, like watching the honeybees work in the hive or picking fresh pumpkins and apples after riding in the Hayrack. On weekends kids can take rides on the Monster Truck. You can even put together a scarecrow with the children. Be sure to experience the 80-foot slide on the farm, too. There’s a goat skywalk and pedal carts or trikes to ride on. The Applewood Grill is open on weekends only and provides many interesting choices such as the special Applewood Smoked Brats, cider donuts, and cinnamon rolls. Be sure to visit in the fall as it’s only open September through December.
