American Jazz Museum

American Jazz Museum is the premiere jazz museum in the United States. It will be an interesting an unique experience for families with children of all ages. Learn about the greats in Jazz; Louie Armstrong, Count Bassie, Sarah Vaughn and more! The museum has many interactive exhibits where you can listen to jazz performances. You can also learn more about the greatest jazz musicians and the history of African-Americans in Kansas City and their contributions to our society. Part of the museum is the Blue Room. It is designed to look like an authentic jazz club from the 1930’s and has artifacts from the time. Adjoining the museum is the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, which will be another leaning experience for the family.
