33rd Annual Ohio River Sternwheel Festival 5K and Kid’s Run

The Sternwheel Festival is an annual event in which sternwheelers come up the Ohio River to join in a celebration in Marietta, OH, home of the American Sternwheel Association. One event of this family friendly festival is the 5K and kids run. This is a great way to get the family some exercise and participate in a great community event. The kids run begins at 7:30 am and consists of 1 lap around the college stadium. The 5K will begin at 8:00am at the Lafayette Hotel. Cost for the kids run is $12 and cost for the 5K is $22. All participants will receive a colorful Sternwheel Festival 5K t-shirt, race number, energy bar, post race food and beverage. After the races participants are encouraged to stay and enjoy the Sternwheel festival and all it has to offer.
